Martin introduced as Times MD

Times of Eswatini Managing Editor Martin Dlamini has been introduced as the Group of Newspapers' Managing Director (MD).

This follows the takeover of the Times of Eswatini Group of Newspapers by the Inyatsi Group Holdings. Other managerial positions and reshuffles will be made during the course of the week according to sources within The Times.

Dlamini will now be responsible for the operations of the company from editorial to printing and circulation. Sources mentioned that staff members were also told the company is starting on E0.00 as the previous owner Paul Loffler left with all his money.

However, with the acquisition, The Times is now part of a group of companies owned by Inyatsi Group Holdings including Embiveni Meats, Inyatsi Construction, Eswatini Mobile and Maloma Coaliary among others.

Established in 1857, the Times of Eswatini is the country's longest surviving company. The Times of Eswatini is officially under the Inyatsi Group Holdings whose Chairman is Michello Shakantu, a businessman of Zambian origin married to Eswatini Minister of Foreign Affairs Princess Pholile, a sister of His Majesty King Mswati III.
